If you are not sure on what interest rate we can achieve for you, we do not run a credit check until we have spoken to you so you can apply online requesting an indication, which will be emailed through – or we will call. While we understand everybody hates hearing “Depending on your credit and financial position” we can give very accurate estimates.
What is your criteria?
Because we are a broker we have no set criteria, once we speak with you, we will know which lenders will consider your lend, rough rates and whether or not we can help.
As a guideline you must be in full time employment, with a restricted or full licence. If you work part-time or have a condition 1 on your licence/learner licence, you may need a guarantor with clean credit who works full time.
5 year loan terms with no deposit are available for some work visa’s if you have been in NZ for more than 3 months

About Pacific Rim Marine Surveys
Being both a boat builder and sailor gives Marine Surveyor James Newcombe a distinct advantage when it comes to understanding what to look for when conducting Pre Purchase Inspections, Surveys and Pre Insurance Surveys. Whether it is a pleasure boat, yacht, classic boat, fishing boat – any boat at all – James extensive experience and ability to communicate with boat owners whether they be new to boating or experienced sea goers sets him apart from the competition.
His C.V reads impressively; following his completion of a Trade certificate in Yacht and Boat Buildng he has been involved in the construction, modification and repair of many types of vessels; from custom built wooden launches, work on the QE2, superyachts and ocean going racers his knowledge and range of experience is vast. James also holds an IIMS Diploma in Marine Surveying.
Even his hobbies are marine related; with yachting, wind surfing and boat building listed amongst his favourite spare time activities, this is a guy that lives and breathes boats.
James will travel to all regions to conduct surveys as required including the Auckland and Bay of Plenty Regions.

I started my career off as an RYA sailing and windsurfing instructor at the age of 18 and worked two years in France and on the Mediterranean before coming to New Zealand in 2004.
Working in the maritime industry I quickly gained my Inshore Launch Master qualification, and have worked full time as a skipper and delivery captain on a variety vessels. Through this I gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience on yachts and launches and started to notice a gap in the services being offered within the Bay of Islands.
Since starting Total Yacht Care in 2012, my team and I have established ourselves within the boating community all over the bay and have a great reputation for quality of service.
