South Pacific Boat Sales Ltd is a boutique boat brokerage based in the heart of Opua, Bay of Islands, New Zealand. We represent clients across Auckland and surrounding regions — from Gulf Harbour and Sandspit to Tutukaka, Whangarei, Opua, and Kerikeri.

Owned and operated by Marine Broker Ron Mossman, supported by his First Mate, Tracye Mossman.

Ron brings a lifetime of hands-on boating experience — something immediately evident when you speak with him. Born into a sailing family in Auckland, he made his first offshore passage at just 10 years old alongside his father and grandfather aboard the family’s 65-foot ketch.

Alongside extensive time on the water, Ron has owned and operated a number of successful businesses, including ventures within the marine industry. His background in sales, combined with a deep practical understanding of boats and boating, provides clients with experienced, balanced guidance whether buying or selling — power or sail.

Tracye contributes significant marine industry experience through previous leadership roles including Project Leader for the Auckland On Water Boat Show with NZ Marine, Race Management Coordinator for the NZ Millennium Cup Superyacht Regatta in the Bay of Islands, and National Course Coordinator for Coastguard Boating Education. Her strong organisational ability and people-focused approach support the smooth operation of South Pacific Boat Sales, allowing Ron to focus fully on client relationships and vessel representation.

Together, their combined experience, practical knowledge, and professional commitment provide the foundation for careful representation and successful outcomes for their clients.
